Finally Prussia gets a little more than the one-liner he had at episode 10 (I think) where he says something to Spain whilst in his pirate gear.
This time he not only shows up, we also see his chibi, he does his signature laugh and he bullies Roderich around! OH YEAH GILBO DO YER THANG.

You don't know how happy seeing Prussia and Austria together in one frame has made me.Lolol yeah, this girl's a Prussia x Austria fan all the way!!! Gilbo and Roderich just look so cute together ne?
A flustered Roderich is so adorable too. And what's with that silly noise Prussia makes at the end of the episode?! XDD
Aside from that, I was also greatly pleased that they included the part about China's villa in the middle of a deserted island. That was such a cute strip! Although why...?! Why wasn't China wearing his sleeveless kung-fu shirt?! Observe...
Haha it might be trivial but I dunno... 80% of that strip's cuteness lies in China's outfit IMHO. Is this a simple case of budgeting problems where they had to recycle cells? Or was China's biceps so unplausible that they had to edit it out?! HAHAHA~! Yao-kun! They are undermining your manriness! Aiya~! I needed me some biceps!
It's near to impossible, but I hope for more Yao-Ivan interaction in the anime y'know? Since there aren't much strips where they're together in the first place. But at least show them in one frame, next to each other. I'd be happy even if it was just that. Even for just one second.

I watched this adorable Spain/Romano MAD video on Youtube sometime back...
And ever since I saw that, Perfume's Puppy Love song has been ringing in my head.
The lyrics really suit Romano's 'tsunderation'. LOLZ.

I wanna make a MAD of RussiaChina too!!! I actually have one planned. But it'll take a freakin' long time some time since I have to draw the frames traditionally then scan 'em, then time them then do edits...

Since the Axis and Allies are technically the 'protagonists' of the show, then they would be placed on covers first. And so far, everyone from the Allies and Axis already made an appearance EXCEPT FOR RUSSIA AND CHINA SO WTH, I mean, how can it not happen?! HOW?!
I doubt they'd pull off something as strange as put Russia or China together with Austria or Switzerland or something... someone not from the Allies of Axis.

The Last Opportunity from Silent Hill 4 is awesome.
I read that it wasn't included in the SH4 soundtrack... I don't know for sure since I've only heard the OSTs of SH2 and 3.
I don't remember much about SH4's BGM but I did get copies of all the songs from SH4 with vocals before. I mean Room of Angel isn't exactly what I'd call 'easy listening', more like hell creepy, but I still think it's a great song and I like to listen to it when I want to remember Silent Hill (the place).
It invokes a different, deeper and more eerie sort of feeling that is a mix between relaxation, depression, excitement and fear. And probably a whole other range of emotions I failed to mention.
It's so difficult to describe it in words really. But I find only a few can appreciate such a fine genre of music. Well, they're the ones missing out!
Here's another, more tame version of the Silent Hill theme from the 1st game. What? Amazing you say? Why of course it is, what did you expect?! It was composed by Yamaoka-sama! If you're an SH fan and you have no idea who Akira Yamaoka is, well shame on you. Go forth and throw yourself in Lake Toluca! (lol)
I (obviously) worship Akira Yamaoka. He's probably one of the most genius composers of our time. Speaking of which, I joined his fanlisting today. You're supposed to see the code/banner up on the sidebar somewhere among the mess.
How I'd love to play some of his pieces on the violin someday. Namely Dance with Night Wind since the violin there is simply majestic.
Did you hear how they used the song in the SH Movie? It was in that part where Christabella takes Rose and Cybil to the 'devil's lair'. Damn if that wasn't perfect for the scene then I don't know what is.
Naturally the entire song wasn't featured in the movie, but if you listen to its entirety in the SH3 OST, you'll get to hear the creepy narration/prose at the end which goes something like:
"The world is teeming with unecessary people. It's God's decision that I fight; as a knight of honor, as a protector of the seal, I sacrifice myself, to the blood of criminals..."
Friggin' sadistic... but it can't get any cooler than that. I love how the voice (which I think belongs to Claudia Wolf) uses the word 'God' but she really means the devil and/or Valtiel's master.
I love how beyond all the twisted visuals and words lies a sick sense of truth and justice which, albeit otherworldly and hellish, reflects so much of the real world we all live in.
I'd put up DL links for some of my favorite SH songs if only my hard drive was here with me today. Too bad my PC's hard drive is currently in purgatory; between life and death... somewhat.

This week I finally got to listen to the Black Jack OST (Sound Karte 01)!
The BGM was composed by Akihiko Matsumoto.
I love almost all the tracks in Sound Karte 01. ^_^The BGM was composed by Akihiko Matsumoto.
My favorites are Born into the New World and Miracle. Incidents is creepy but I like it a lot too. 7th Heaven and Everyday & Everynight made me laugh a bit at first but they quickly grew on me. The violin in Delightful Days is beautiful.
Janne da Arc's Gekkou Hana (Moonlight Flower) Black Jack Mix was also included. Someday I'd like to play the violin piece in Gekkou Hana...
JDA has been my longtime favorite band and Gekkou Hana is one of their coolest songs, in my opinion.
It’s funny ‘cause Janne da Arc is actually the first reason I noticed Black Jack. Then the bonus episode also had Ami Suzuki’s Fantastic as an opening. Both are very awesome songs.

Speaking of beautiful instrumentals, Tanoshii Moomin Ikka has a splendid collection. I've yet to find out who composed the BGM for the series though... I wonder who it is.

The Moomin OST reminds me so much of Legend of Legaia's OST and also of the old fantasy RPGs I used to play...
And I'm a sucker for good RPG soundtracks, or just good soundtracks in general. I think the BGM is VERY IMPORTANT in a show or videogame.
I remember when I used to play Chrono Cross or Legend of Legaia, you could really feel the game because of the music and it makes playing that much more enjoyable.
But with Suikoden… blegh! I think it was Suikoden II? Gah! The OST was goddawful. There was this one town where the music was so terrible; I couldn’t play it if I didn’t MUTE the goddamn sound.
Actually I never even got past that village. I lost interest in it altogether. Haha…!
Ever notice how the BGM in local TV shows (here in the Philippines) suck?
Well I think it’s because the directors/producers take its importance for granted and just play whatever or just use recycled BGM from their past productions. (Which also majorly suck.)
It’s disappointing since I believe there are a lot of local composers who could’ve composed awesome music for them; they just don’t bother to look.
